New York City's public housing developments are in need of repairs. In 2013, it looked like the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) might sell some of its land to fund repairs. Some people thought this was a bad idea. Others thought it was a good idea. I worked with teaching artist Chat Travieso and public high school students from Lyons Community School to look into the different opinions on NYCHA's "land lease" plan. Together with the teaching artist, students, and designer Yeju Choi, we produced this poster to lay out the perspectives they heard from their interviews on the future of NYCHA land. The poster is being used by housing advocacy organization Community Voices Heard in their own organizing work.
